Stephen announced the wrong name of the professional skater when they were introduced as the winners for the final time

In the file it all came down to former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas and Made In Chelsea personality Miles Nazaire.

When it came to formerly announcing the winner for the last time on the show, Stephen had accidentally announced the wrong name of the professional skater.

Vanessa Bauer‘s name was called out alongside Ryan Thomas, when it should have been Amanci Fancy.

This was a mistake which didn’t go unnoticed by Dancing On Ice viewers.

One said on X – formerly known as Twitter: “Stephen messed up at the end saying your winners Ryan and Vanessa instead of Amani…”

Whilst a second noted: “Whilst a Ryan and Amani not Ryan and Vanessa Stephen! #DancingOnIce.”

Viewers also think the host may have given away the result before it was announced.

Just before the winner was announced, he also made his way over to Miles and Vanessa.

The In For A Penny personality put one hand on the professional dancer’s shoulder, which fans have read as a commiseration gesture.

This also was picked up online as a third fan added: “Well Steven gave the result away with his commiseration face to Miles before results were announced.. plus he said Ryan and Vanessa (2nd time) as winners instead of Amani.”
