I’M A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here star Mike Tindall has let rip while discussing Matt Hancock following the MP’s jungle debut.
The rugby ace, 44, branded former Health Secretary Matt a ‘bulls****er’ after hearing his reason for taking part in the show.
Matt, 44, had told his campmates that he signed up to show the public that he is “more human” than the ‘common perception of strict politicians’.
He stuttered: “Politicians are known, and me in particular, for like being very…in a very sort of strict way of being.
“Which is just not actually how we are. I’m more human than that.”
But speaking to campmates Sue Cleaver and Boy George, Mike later gave his thoughts on Matt’s clunky explanation.
Mike, who is married to the King’s niece Zara Tindall, said: “When he opened his mouth when he was asked why did he come here, all I heard was bulls***, bulls***, bulls***.”
Seconds earlier, Coronation Street’s Sue had remarked: “He sticks out like a sore thumb.”
Matt entered the jungle on Wednesday night alongside fellow newbie, comedian Seann Walsh.
Unbeknown to the other campmates, they have both been made moles and will be carrying out secret missions.
But while Seann was welcomed with open arms, Matt was not given such a warm reception from everyone.
Boy George broke down in tears in the Bush Telegraph after revealing his elderly mother was ill in hospital during the pandemic.
He had confided in Scarlette Douglas moments earlier, saying: “You know, the beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die.
“I was tweeting Greenwich hospital going, ‘Please look after my mum’. I used my name, I was like ‘Please look after my mum.’
“And they did, she was fine… I feel like, I don’t want to be sitting here like I’m having fun with him.”
Boy George then admitted in the Telegraph that he wasn’t sure if he wanted to continue on I’m A Celebrity with Matt now in the camp.
