It comes as friends of family of the celebrities have touched down at Brisbane Airport and are staying at the plush five-star JW Marriott hotel ahead of the final later this month.

A source said: “The eviction will be bittersweet as it is always sad to see the first celebrity go.

“But it means that family and friends will have the experience of meeting their loved one on the famous bridge in the jungle as the series has returned to Australia.”

Meanwhile the bookies Ladbrokes have placed Lioness legend Jill Scott, 35, and Mike Tindall, 44, as joint favourites to win the show after it is back Down Under after two years.

In a touching tribute to her partner Jill, Shelly Unitt landed in a jumper emblazoned with an image of the footballer’s face and the slogan: “Team Jill.”

Shelly arrived alongside Babatunde Aleshe‘s sister Funke, who sported a hot pink Nirvana jumper.

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver‘s husband Brian and son Elliott, who posed at the airport with matching silver suitcases and baseball caps, also arrived to support the soap actress.

Meanwhile Owen Warner‘s mum Polly and dad Tim flashed big smiles as they wheeled their luggage and looked excited at the prospect of reuniting with their soap star son.

And late jungle entry Seann Walsh‘s girlfriend pregnant Grace Adderley beamed as she arrived in Australia.
