LOVE Island star Joe Garrat has revealed the reason why the islanders like to whisper in the villa.
The 27-year-old shot to fame on the fifth series of the ITV2 dating show in 2019.

Love Island recently returned to our screens for this year’s summer series and the drama keeps on coming.
During an episode last week, Molly Marsh, 21, made it clear to Jess Harding, 22, and Ella Thomas, 22, that she could hear them talking about her across the villa while she interrupted Zachariah Noble’s workout session with bombshell Charlotte Sumner, 30.
An unimpressed Molly told Zach that she could hear everything that they were saying and told them to “shut up”.
Joe has confirmed that Molly said is true – and if islanders want private conversations where nobody can eavesdrop, they have to go to certain spots in the villa.
Speaking exclusively to HOAR at the launch of the new Subway Series Menu, Joe said: “So you know every year when everyone goes ‘oh my god so and so is whispering a lot’, ‘so and so whispers’…
“I got a lot of it – ‘Joe whispers a lot’.
“You whisper because you’re so close to one another so you can hear what everyone is saying… unless you whisper! Or murmur a little bit and then noone can hear you.
“So it’s more like a faint noise, if you’re really loud they can hear it.
“You have to go to the corners of the villa basically, or get in the pool!”
Joe has been watching the latest series of the show.
While many of the islanders recently said that Whitney Adebayo, 25, and Mehdi Edno were the least compatible, Joe thinks the complete opposite.
He told us: “Do you know who I quite like… because they’ve been a slow burner – Whitney and Medhi.
“With Love Island everyone rushes so quickly to get into a couple, I’ve been there myself.
“You rush and you’re like ‘aw we’re in love’ and you hang out… spend every second together.
“They’ve had this really nice slow incline. I think they’ll go through some tough times if Casa Amor happens, which it normally does.
“But I really think they’ll come out the other side of it.”
The curly haired hunk doesn’t think that a lot of the couples with survive the sister villa.
When asked which islanders in particular, he said: “Everyone. Obviously fingers crossed Mehdi and Whitney don’t do it.
“Everyone else… heads will be turning.”
