LOVE Island’s Kodie Murphy has been branded a liar by his alleged secret girlfriend who he told was “going on a work trip” before heading to the villa.
The 20-year-old, who described himself as “flirty, cheeky and mischievous” is said to have blindsided his partner who sarcastically “wished him luck”.

She shared a photo of the two of them at a gig, saying that she felt ‘disrespected’
Sharing a photo of the two of them together, she wrote: “As some of you may know @KodieMurphy and I have been exclusive for some time and now I’ve come to find out this ‘work trip’ he was going on was actually Casa Amor.“
“Couldn’t feel more hurt and disrespected, Kodie you had plenty of time to tell me, however I hope you find what you’re looking for”.
Before adding: “I wish you luck”.
HOAR has contacted Love Island representatives for comment.
Kodie is a social media marketer from Birmingham who said the three traits he is looking for in a partner are loyalty, confidence and independence.
When asked about which girl he has his eye on ahead of his Casa Amor entrance, Kodie named Jess Harding as his favourite.
He said: “Jess is my weak point as I do love a blonde”.
Kodie also admitted he does like the look of Manchester-based Leah Taylor.
He said: “Leah is a very pretty girl but Jess’ personality is stand-out for me. She can give good banter!”
Revealing how he was feeling about Casa Amor, Kodie said: “I love a challenge and can’t wait to bring my flirty, cheeky side out.
“There isn’t as much pressure when you go into Casa Amor, you can go in and have some fun. I’ll definitely be a little mischievous.”
He added: “I’m going to go in there and be my big, bubbly, cheeky self – I definitely know what I want.
“You have to lay it on a bit thicker in Casa Amor than the outside, which will be different for me but I am confident in approaching things.
“I work well under pressure, so no worries there.”
