Viewers of the show were left shocked as they spotted a new love interest on the horizon for Jess – and it isn’t Sammy or the villa’s new bombshell Scott.

In the latest instalment of Unseen Bits, Love Island fans noticed that blonde beauty Jess appeared to have a new admirer.
Despite being coupled up with Sammy and enjoying a shock date with bombshell goal-keeper Scott, Jess appears to have gained the attention of a fellow original line-up member.
One fan wrote to Twitter: “Mehdi really likes Jess.”
A second agreed: “Jess and Mehdi could be a great couple.”
A fourth chimed in: “Am I the only one who thinks Mehdi likes Jess?”
“I think Mehdi likes Jess,” added a fifth.
Others questioned Mehdi’s connection with bombshell Whitney, with one writing: “It is Love Island not personality island! And clearly Whit and Mehdi only have a friendship connection.”
A second exclaimed: “Whitney doesn’t like this Mehdi guy.”
It comes after Love Island viewers accused Whitney of faking her interest in Mehdi.
Although the pair appeared to grow closer throughout the week and even enjoyed a tandem ride date during Monday’s episode, some viewers aren’t convinced.
One fan wrote to social media: “Whitney can’t even fake not liking Mehdi anymore.”
Another posted: “Yaaass Whitney and Mehdi, fake it till you make it to the 50k.”
The supposed sparks of love come after a shock double dumping in yesterday’s episode.
Friday’s instalment saw Andre Furtado and Charlotte Sumner get dumped from the villa after the public were given the power to vote for their favourite couple.
The three boys with the fewest votes were Andre, Zachariah Noble and Sammy Root, while the bottom three girls were Charlotte, Leah Taylor and Catherine Agbaje.
Fans of the show were less than impressed though, with some claiming the vote was “rigged”.
