LOVE Island host Maya Jama is set for a £750,000 payday to stay on as presenter.

She has impressed ITV bosses in her first year fronting the dating show’s winter and summer editions and spin-off Aftersun.

Maya Jama is set to rake in £750,000 to stay on as a host of Love Island

It comes as the Bristol-born star, who took over from Laura Whitmore, 38, has clinched a string of lucrative deals.

Last week high-end Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana announced a partnership with Maya, 28, and this month she is one of the first telly stars on the cover of fashion bible Vogue.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s live Love Island final a telly source said: “ITV absolutely love Maya — she’s gone down a storm with viewers and is perfect with her fun banter and flirty style.

“Execs see her as part of the ongoing success of the show so are preparing a pay increase when it comes to renewing her contract ahead of the next series.

“She’s one of their hottest commodities and they’re determined to keep her happy. Maya really enjoys hosting.

“It’s a dream job and she loves that she has the freedom to do other projects.”

Maya, worth around £3million, is also the face of Rimmel London and has her own beauty range MIJ Masks.

Lucrative sponsorship deals with Boots and eBay helped Love Island rake in £73.5million last year.
