MAURA Higgins has revealed she has rejected an offer to join the show’s All Stars series.

The stunning Irish star, 32, who shot to fame on the hit ITV2 show in 2019, confirmed she has been approached by producers.

Maura Higgins was an instant hit when she starred on Love Island back in 2019

The reality star has revealed she won’t be appearing on the All Stars version of the ITV2 series

Maura ended up coupled up with Curtis Pritchard in a surprise twist that no one saw coming.

She went on to make a name for herself as a TV presenter. She has hosted segments on This Morning and fronted the BBC’s show Glow Up Ireland.

However, Maura, has revealed she has turned the opportunity to go on the new spin-off series down, because she “doesn’t want to go back in time”.

It comes after executive producer Mike Spencer recently teased the possibility of an all-stars series and was interested in getting the Irish bombshell to sign on.

Speaking to Goss.ie  she said: “I can’t see myself ever doing that again, no. I’ve been asked, but I’ve said no.

“I just think, I’ve done it once, I’ve had my time on Love Island. I don’t really want to go back in time, I want to look to the future.”

A source told HOAR earlier this year that the all-star series is in “development”.

They told us: ‘The plan would be to invite some of the sexiest and most successful former islanders to see if they can find love for a second time around.’

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed Maura how has landed herself a huge job on Love Island USA.

dropped a big hint that she was taking part in the show earlier this week – and it turns out the speculating fans were right.

But, Maura won’t be entering the villa as an Islander,  instead she will be taking over the social channels for the hit series, which airs on Peacock.

The show announced the news this evening, writing: “This just in… @maurahiggins will be your social ambassador this season bringing (sneaking) you the BTS scoop all summer!”

The news went down very well with fans, with one writing: “@maurahiggins is my all time fave ?? love island ? girl! ? Having her on ?? is epic!”

A second said: “A LOVE ISLAND LEGEND!!!!!! Welcome to @loveislandusa @maurahiggins! #LoveIslandUSA.”

And Iain Stirling commented: “Welcome to the team.”

Maura first set tongues wagging as she jetted away, telling fans:  “Bye bye London… for a long time.”

The brunette beauty added fuel to the fire as she touched down in her new location and was greeted by two men holding up signs with the Love Island logo on.

The signs read ‘got a text,’ and Maura posted the mysterious welcome to the country on her Instagram Stories.
