TWO Love Islanders get a shock in tonight’s launch episode as it’s revealed they already know each other.

The moment comes as the latest batch of sexy singletons prepare to find out who the public has picked to partner them with.

Host Maya Jama gathers five Islanders in the garden as the first coupling of the series gets underway.

One by one, the remaining five Islanders enter the villa and find out the result of the public vote.

It’s at this point that model Ella Thomas and footballer Tyrique Hyde reveal they already know each other.

Before heading into the villa, Ella told ITV: “I’m the whole package, I know what I want in life and I’ve got a big heart.

“I’d let the boys know that I’m wifey material so don’t play with me!”

Speaking about going on Love Island, he told ITV: “I’ll bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty.

“I don’t sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I’m also not afraid to go after what I want.”

It remains to be seen if they will get the chance to further that relationship as a couple.

Once all the Islanders are partnered up, Maya makes her exit from the Villa and says: “I think it’s fair to say on Love Island you should 100 percent expect the unexpected!”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
