CHRIS Hughes has been helping vulnerable people during lockdown.
The kindhearted reality star, 27, teamed up with Mecca Bingo to distribute food to those who need it.
The current coronavirus pandemic has seen some people left with little or no food and has left homeless people even more vulnerable.
But today reality star Chris helped those in need in Dagenham by serving and delivering food.
Whilst the nation has been enjoying family zoom quizzes, baking banana bread, and turning their hands to a puzzle or two during lockdown, TV star, Chris was helping his local community by volunteering.
He spent the day at Mecca Dagenham, where he helped staff to prepare and deliver meals to the most vulnerable in his local area.
Chris took to Instagram to share what he had been up to.
In the short video he could be seen helping to prepare food in the kitchen.
The TV star then packed up a nearby van with goods, ready to be delivered in the local area.
Chris’ work forms part of #MeccaTogether.
Since March, Mecca Bingo have been supporting charities and organisations up and down the country to feed those most in need.
They have also been offering free car parking spaces to NHS workers and joining the Blue Light Card scheme to offer discounted meals to those working on the front line.
