LOVE Island’s Samie Elishi has shown fans her painful-looking bruise after undergoing tests to determine if she has cancer.
The 23-year-old had a thyroid biopsy after discovering a lump on her neck.

She was told by doctors she’s grade three – and will have to have surgery in four to six weeks to have half of her thyroid removed, as well as the lump.
They will then test to see if it’s cancer, and if it is, she will have to have a second surgery to have the other half removed.
Following her biopsy, Samie shared a picture of the bruising saying: “Thyroid update – bruise from the biopsy is really coming out now.
“Still waiting for a surgery date.”
Samie‘s health concerns were discovered after Love Island viewers pointed out her lump.
The former estate agent co-ordinator decided to go get it checked and has had ongoing tests.
Fighting back the tears as she told fans about the situation, Samie said: “Mine was a ‘grey area’ so they couldn’t tell – so they’re not sure. They weren’t sure if it is cancerous if it’s not.”
She added: “But obviously it is still really scary. I’m a young girl. I’m realising how common it is.”
Samie placed third on the hit-ITV dating programme with Tom Clare, 23, behind winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and runners-up Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins.
The pair split this week after struggling to make their relationship work outside of the villa.
