MAYA Jama will repeat her move from winter Love Island and visit the villa TWICE in the first episode – but will this time hand the Islanders a dastardly challenge.

In the past, the show’s host presided over the first coupling up then departed – with former presenter Laura Whitmore even criticised for the lack of time she spent in Mallorca.

But Maya is back to deal out double trouble on tonight’s episode.

Just hours after they first couple up, she will strut into the villa to break some news with a show source saying it is the “toughest day one decision to date”.

A source said: “Producers are always trying to keep the format fresh but this year they have done that and them some.

“Maya will visit the villa twice and her second stint will leave viewers truly shocked.

“It is the most dastardly move ever and will really rock the couples.

“Bosses can’t wait to see what viewers make of it.”

It comes after bosses vowed to make this the spiciest series yet.

When HOAR toured the villa last week, executive producer Mike Spencer said they had many plans.

He said: “We’re gonna turn the show on its head a little bit, so you can expect the unexpected and things won’t be where you originally think they’ll be.

“There will be new twists and turns along the way.

“We’re really, really, really, really, really (corr!) trying to keep it fresh and exciting.

“It’s time to change it all up.

“We are still really reactive, we still look at what people are saying when we’re on air and then that plays a massive factor in what we do every day.

“Everything has to be based around their relationships and we’ve got our bombshells in waiting so if people don’t fancy each other, we’ve got people that are their types ready to go in.”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
