Sharing a Jackpot with Neighbors

Susan was one of 10 neighbors in Whitley Bay who shared a £1 million jackpot on the Postcode Lottery. Their address, NE25 8RX, won the weekly Millionaire Street prize on January 13.

A New Kitchen and a Trip of a Lifetime

Susan, a retired hospital worker and foster mom, plans to use her winnings to get a brand new, fully equipped kitchen and take a trip to visit her children.

Visiting Family in Dubai and Australia

Susan's son lives in Dubai, and her daughter has been in Perth, Australia for some years now. She hopes to be able to visit them with her lottery winnings.

A Nice Surprise

Susan was shocked by the size of her prize, but she called it a "nice shock" and said it was the next best day of her life after having kids.

Supporting Local Charities

Susan decided to play the Postcode Lottery to support local charities and have a chance at winning a nice prize.

Double the Prize for Neighbors

On the same street, Paul Rendles, 64, and his wife Elaine, 64, won double the prize with £166,666.

Generous Plans

Paul and Elaine plan to help their children and grandchildren, as well as treating themselves to a Mediterranean break.

The People's Postcode Lottery

The People's Postcode Lottery costs £12-a-month to play and has guaranteed winners every day. Since its inception, it has raised over £1.2 billion for charities and local good causes.

Other Big Winners
