Harry recalled in his bombshell memoir Spare that Meghan asked to borrow his sister-in-law Kate‘s new lip gloss as she’d forgotten hers.
He called the moment, which happened ahead of the Waleses’ Royal Foundation Forum, an “American thing”.
Page Six reported the Prince wrote: “Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube.
“Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced.”
Harry went on to say the four “should’ve been able to laugh about” the moment, but the press “sensed” it was “something bigger”.
He claimed that Kate must have been “on edge,” as she was now “going to be compared to, and forced to compete with, Meg”.

In the memoir Harry revealed he has taken cocaine, cannabis, magic mushrooms and even used laughing gas while Meghan was giving birth.
It has since been revealed the Prince was allowed to leave his Apache helicopter base after it was put in lockdown when random drug testers arrived.
In the memoir, Harry has also told of how he lost his virginity to an older woman, and claimed that brother Prince William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and … knocked me to the floor“.
