MEGHAN Markle donned a beaming smile as she celebrated her birthday dinner with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex looked elegant as she saw in her 42nd birthday with husband Harry at a “toned down” dinner party this year.

Meghan opted for a sophisticated black and white full-length strapless stripped dress with a wooden beaded clutch bag

The mum-of-two threw her hair up in a casual up-do, and paired the ensemble with black, flat sandals

They were spotted looking cosy on their date night, while outside the famous Tre Lune Restaurant in Montecito, California, often frequented by Hollywood A-Listers.

This marks their first public appearance following claims that surfaced the pair were giving each other space.

However, they put on a united front this week as they spoke lovingly about Archie, four, and Lilibet, two in video they filmed to support one of their organisations.

And, these rumours have been swiftly denied by an insider.

A source close to the couple told Page Six: “It’s not true, it’s literally made up.”

Close pal Omid Scobie also slammed claims about the couple.

For her birthday bash tonight, Meghan and Harry, 38, again appeared to squash recent speculation.

The mum-of-two opted for a sophisticated black and white full-length strapless stripped dress with a wooden beaded clutch bag.

She threw her hair up in a casual up-do, and paired the ensemble with black, flat sandals.

Meanwhile, Harry looked laid-back in a powder blue shirt and some white trousers.

The happy couple dined at the prestigious Italian restaurant with friend Matt Cohen, and the party wrapped things up early just before 9pm.

Claims earlier this week suggested Meghan’s low-key birthday plans were part of putting to bed the endless “soap opera” surrounding them and the Royal Family.

But, her special day was publicly ignored by The Firm today as they are “fed up” with the Sussexes, claimed an expert.

It makes it the second snub in days after it was revealed the couple won’t be part of the Firm’s event marking the Queen’s death.

Royal author Angela Levin has told HOAR Online William and Kate are “fed up” of Meghan and shouldn’t have to send her well wishes.

She said: “Meghan didn’t recognise Camilla’s birthday publicly so I don’t see why they should do anything in return,

“William wants absolutely nothing to do with Harry at the minute and who can blame him.

“Katherine is forgiving and isn’t nasty, she comes from a loving home, but she is also really fed up with Meghan too.

“They could say something that has no emotion and no love – very very basic.

“They don’t want to give Meghan an opportunity to be nasty and for the Sussexes squad to be vile because they will attack them back.

“But why should they after how Harry and Meghan have acted.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ joint Twitter account has even tweeted today to congratulate the Rhino Man on his documentary about protecting the animals – but no nod to their sister-in-law.

The Prince and Princess of Wales wished Meghan a happy birthday last year alongside King Charles and Camilla.

It comes after the pair chose to remain in the public eye, despite quitting the UK for a private life, and repeatedly bashed the Royal Family in interviews, a memoir, a Netflix docuseries and podcasts.
