SARAH Platt and Adam Barlow’s marriage seems to be headed for the rocks as she finds out she’s pregnant next week.
The Coronation Street solicitor struggles to cope with the news as she fails to figure out who the father could be.
Sarah cheated on Adam
The couple initially disagreed on the idea of having children together as the Underworld PA (played by Tina O’Brien) wanted to focus on her career.
But after sleeping with Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths), she told her husband Adam (Sam Robertson) that she was ready to have a child with him.
Sadly, she couldn’t stay away from Damon and Adam eventually found out about her affair with the Weatherfield thug.
The solicitor has been seething since he found out Sarah cheated on him but will they ever resolve their differences?
Could a surprise baby bring them closer? That may not be the case.
Coming up next week on ITV, Sarah joins Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) in the Rovers.
But as she takes a sip of her wine, she baulks and worried she might be pregnant, hurries out.
Back at home Sarah looks at her positive pregnancy test in total shock.
Stealing herself, she hands Adam the pregnancy test and admits that she doesn’t know who the father is as it could be either him or Damon.
Adam reels in shock, well aware that he wanted to build a family with Sarah – but how will he react?
This remains to be seen but Sarah decides she can’t live in doubt and she later attends a DNA appointment to figure out who the father of her baby really is.
Sarah does her best to remain positive but will Adam be by her side?
Once again, viewers will have to wait before finding out but things could turn more awry when Adam finds Sarah in the Rovers celebrating with Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell).
Sarah enthuses about Owen Longford (Ben Hull) and his passion for Nippersnapper, prompting Adam to take the hump and leave.
