MACKENZIE Boyd was crushed when his secret son Reuben fell ill and was taken to hospital.
His wife, Charity Dingle, found out about his betrayal and more Emmerdale villagers hear the news next week.

The hunk had a one night stand with Chloe Harris

Chloe Harris (portrayed by Jessie Elland) gave birth to a baby boy named Reuben after a hard pregnancy which involved her becoming homeless.
Luckily for her, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) welcomed her within her home, unaware that Chloe was pregnant with her partner’s lovechild.
However, when Reuben was rushed to hospital, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) struggled to keep his bond with Reuben a secret and Charity eventually put two and two together.
Next week on ITV, Mack’s sister Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) gets wind of his betrayal and pieces his months of lies together.
Mackenzie is shaken by her words but they eventually leave him spurred-on to fix things with Charity.
Meanwhile, Chloe also has to deal with the fallout of her one night stand with Mack being public knowledge.
When her sister Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) arrives at the hospital for cuddles with Reuben, a self-loathing Chloe breaks the news that Mackenzie is the father.
Amy can’t believe what Chloe has done but what will she do?
Will she stand by her no matter what?
Chloe gave birth to her son while Mackenzie was tying the knot with Charity and received the surprise support of her sister Amy.
Mackenzie battled with his thoughts throughout the wedding ceremony after finding out Chloe was giving birth.
Soap boss Jane Hudson teased upcoming trouble for both Chloe and Mackenzie.
“The big choice for Mack is going to be does he want to be a dad or does he want to be a husband, and can he be both or can he not be both?”
“How is Charity going to respond? We know she is fiery. And can Chloe remain in the village when this secret comes out?
“Because it’s not going to be nice when you’ve got the wrath of the Dingles.”
