FANS of top British soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale can tour the sets as part of a holiday this year.

Viewers of Coronation Street can stroll down the cobbles of its famous street past the Rovers Return and Emmerdale watchers can pull a pint in the Woolpack during UK holidays from £119 per person.

On the Coronation Street tour fans get to see the iconic locations that have graced screens for 60 years.

This includes the external sets as studio guides tell you first-hand stories and filming secrets from the studio.

You’ll get to see Roy’s Rolls, The Kabin, Underworld and, of course, the Rovers Return.

Guests also get to head behind the scenes to discover the production process of the show and have the opportunity to capture their time on set with a selfie.

The trip includes return coach travel, a visit to Liverpool, admission to Coronation Street Tour at MediaCityUK in Manchester, and an overnight stay at a selected three-star hotel in the North West area with dinner and breakfast.

Emmerdale fans can book a two-day break which includes The Emmerdale Village Tour, a guided walking tour of the TV village based on the Harewood Estate near Leeds.

Here you’ll see where exterior scenes of the much-loved soap, which is now Britain’s second-longest-running, are filmed, including The Woolpack, Café Mainstreet and David’s Shop.

Both tours depart from locations in North England and the Midlands only with travel dates for later in the year.
