CORONATION Street fans all have the same complaint after Spider Nugent and Toyah Battersby’s shooting horror.
The undercover policeman – who is played by actor Martin Hancock in the ITV soap – was summoned by kidnapper Maggie who had snatched Toyah.

It was after Toyah was kidnapped by Maggie
She lured him to some open wasteland and forced them both to kneel before her loaded gun.
But as Maggie told them her fiendish plan to kill Toyah and watch Spider suffer, he whispered his apologies to Toyah and stood up.
“This isn’t going to work you know, I care about Toyah but I don’t love her,” he said to Maggie.
“Not like you loved John. I’m incapable of it, don’t you see? How else do you think I do what I do.
“Lying to people, making them trust me, getting what I need from them and then throwing them away.
“If Toyah dies, I’ll be sad, course I will, but I’ll get over it and move on, I always do.”
Maggie called him a monster but he continued: “The world needs people like me to protect it from people like you.
“Your husband was a scumbag heroin dealer. He ruined people’s lives – children’s lives. Just so you could drive a flash car and live in a big house.
“I’m glad he’s dead, he got everything he deserved.”
Grabbing Maggie, Spider shouted for Toyah to run but as she fled a shot rang out and Spider collapsed on the floor.
But as Toyah tried to talk Maggie down, she told her she would shoot her – and Spider sprang up and knocked her out, saving Toyah’s life.
Later Leanne and Nick told the couple that Spider couldn’t be around the flat anymore – he was putting them and Sam in too much danger.
He agreed and refused to give up his job, leading Toyah to end things but fans all have the same complaint.
One wrote: “So Spider saved Toyah and now she’s dumping him….”
A second said: “Toyah you lost Spider because you made him choose, silly move.”
Another added: “I’m not incey winceys biggest fan Toyah…..but really? You expect him to give up his career, that’s not fair!”
