CORONATION Street fans spotted Goodnight Sweetheart TV legend Victor McGuire made a one-off appearance in Dev’s shop.
He’s best known for playing Jack Boswell in Bread, but made a special appearance on the cobbles.
It’s not the first time he’s been a low-key character on Corrie.
In February he played Big Garth as Paul pawned Sylvias ring down the market.
His fans know him for playing loveable Jack in the eighties sitcom about the extended Boswell family from Liverpool.
The family,led by matriarch Nellie (Jean Boht), wereCatholicandworking class – each episode was centred around her children trying to make enough money to support the family.
The 52-year-old, from Tuebrook, Liverpool, later went on to play Ron Wheatcroft opposite Nicholas Lyndhurst in Goodnight Sweetheart.
The Everton FC supporter has gone on to star in many films and TV shows, including Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Woman in Black, Dalziel And Pascoe, Casualty and 2point4 Children.
Since 2012 he appeared as security guard Ian in the Sky1 sitcom Trollied.
And fans were quick to spot him on the cobbles.
