The Real Full Monty sees celebrities strip off to highlight the importance of checking your body for cancer and recreating the famous striptease from the classic British film.

Sherrie will be doing the show in honour of her beloved brother Brett Hutchinson, 71, who tragically passed away following an incurable brain tumour in April 2020.

A source said: “When Sherrie was first asked to do the show she had a few reservations – could she really strip off in front of the nation?

“It’s been three years since she lost Brett and after talking to her family it felt like the right time to do something to raise awareness.”

Earlier this year HOAR revealed that The Real Full Monty would be back for another series.

As the name suggests the show is based on the 1997 movie, starring Robert Carlyle, which chronicled the desperate a lengths a group of sacked steelworkers would go to to make money.

The Real Full Monty first aired in 2017 with just male stars taking part. The line up included McFly hunk Harry Judd, dancer Wayne Sleep and soap pin-up Matthew Wolfenden.

By series four a line-up of famous ladies were also taking part including soap actors Linda Lusardi, Hayley Tamaddon and presenter Coleen Nolan.

A TV insider said: “This show proved hugely popular with viewers because it raised a laugh while shining a spotlight on serious subjects.

“In previous years producers have tried to put a twist on the overall theme and this year is likely to be no exception.”
