CORONATION Street have signed up a show legend and fan favourite to keep them on the soap for another year.
Fans will be glad to know that two much-loved characters of of the ITV show will appear on the Cobbles for another 12 months.

Actor Joe Duttine will be back on our screens
Roy Cropper actor David Neilson has signed another 12-month contract
HOAR can reveal Joe Duttine, who plays Tim Metcalfe and Roy Cropper actor David Neilson, recently signed one year contracts to keep them on the show.
A source told us: “Everyone’s really pleased they signed up again – the show wouldn’t be the same without them.
Fans will breathe a sign of relief they’re sticking with the show.”
Joe has been on the hit show since 2013, while David has starred in Corrie for 28 years.
Earlier today we revealed that Roy will be confronted over his secret addiction in coming weeks.
His niece Nina Lucas encouraged him to get a mobile phone, but things take a turn for the worst when he can’t stop tapping away on his device.
Meanwhile last month Corrie fans were left hot under the collar when Tim’s wife Sally opened up about their sexy role-play to Fiz Dobbs.

Fiz confided in Sally about her bedroom antics with Tyrone, explaining that she didn’t want things to “end up how they were before”.
Sally told her: “Tim and I have been experimenting for quite a while now.”
She continued: “So role playing, so last week Tim was an airline pilot and I was an air hostess – long haul obviously – and I was married to an older man who went away…”
