Adam Barlow (portrayed by Sam Robertson) was fuming when Sarah (Tina O’Brien) revealed she’d slept with Damon.
Sarah was eager to keep everything a secret from her solicitor husband until her own son Harry let it slip to Adam that he didn’t want another father.
Since she finally spilled the beans, Sarah and Adam have been trying to fix their marriage but the latter is more reluctant as he’s turned all of his attention on revenge.
And tonight, Adam may have found the perfect way to finally get rid of Damon for good.
Coming up on ITV, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) finds Adam trawling through Paul’s file looking for dirt on Damon.
Dee-Dee is furious and grabs the file.
In later scenes, Damon tells Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) he’s booked an appointment with the Head of the Weatherfield Market Association to discuss a potential pitch for the Bistro.
Meanwhile, Adam wheedles information out of an unsuspecting Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) about the car theft scam, managing to glean info on the guy he dealt with.
Having traced Niall’s phone number, Adam meets with Niall, telling him that Damon Hay is planning to do the dirty on him and inform the police about his involvement in the car insurance scam.
