ALYA vows to expose Geoff’s domestic abuse and free her grandmother Yasmeen from prison next week in Coronation Street.
Yasmeen is set to be charged with Geoff’s attempted murder this week on the ITV soap after lashing out at him with a bottle in self-defence when he attacked her with a knife.

Corrie viewers will remember that Alya noticed there was something dodgy about Geoff when he returned from Las Vegas married to her grandmother last year.
Alya’s suspicions were piqued when Geoff spread that Yasmeen was an alcoholic, which Alya knew was a lie.
She did some digging and discovered that he and a former girlfriend were once charged with causing an affray.
But when she tried to persuade Yasmeen to leave her abuser, the grandmother lashed out and told Alya not to make her choose between her and her husband.
Last week a furious showdown between Geoff and Yasmeen – after he admitted he’d forced her to wear a dress he’d originally bought for his escort – saw the brute launch at Yasmeen with a huge knife.
Yasmeen panicked and in self-defence lashed out at Geoff with a bottle which broke in her hands.
The shards of glass slashed Geoff’s neck and Yasmeen watched in horror as her husband slumped to the ground with blood pouring from his wounds.
Episodes of Corrie set to air this week will see Yasmeen arrested for Geoff’s attempted murder as Alya rushes home and tries to spread the word that her grandmother is the victim.
Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Yasmeen tremble in her boots as the day of her bail hearing arrives.
She’s devastated when Imran fails to get her bail for the attempted murder of Geoff.
Meanwhile, Alya busies herself spreading the word that Yasmeen was the victim in all of this.
Alya calls at the Rovers and tells Sean that her grandmother was the victim of domestic abuse at the hands of Geoff.
But will anyone believe her?
HOAR exclusively revealed that Yasmeen would be charged with attempted murder back in March 2020 and that she’d be put through hell as she struggled to get anyone to believe the cruelty she’s suffered at the hands of Geoff.
