SUMMER Spellman has been hit with an unexpected pregnancy in recent scenes aired on ITV.
The Coronation Street teen is overwhelmed and makes an important decision for her future.

However she decides to backtrack, much to Billy’s horror
How will Summer – played by Harriet Bibby – cope with motherhood?
In recent months, the teenager has already had to deal with her diabetes diagnosis which sadly led to her developing an eating disorder.
She has recently discovered, along with other Weatherfield residents, that she’s expecting a baby.
Upcoming scenes of the Manchester-based program will show Summer ready to make a choice about her surprise pregnancy.
Next week, she tells her boyfriend Aaron Sandford (portrayed by James Craven) that she has booked an appointment with Dr Gaddas for an abortion.
After seeing the doctor, she later admits to Aaron that she can’t help but feel upset – and she’s not the only one.
Upon finding out she was pregnant, Summer was ready to give her baby up for adoption.
This would have allowed Esther, a friend of her guardian Billy Mayhew, to have the child she wanted.
But Esther is gutted when she learns Summer has, instead, planned to terminate her pregnancy.
As a result, Esther makes a desperate move and offers Summer money to change her mind.
Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) walks in and is horrified when he realises Esther was willing to bribe Summer into having a baby.
He orders Esther to leave – but infers that he disapproves with Summer’s abortion.
The youngster is crushed and finds refuge in her bedroom.
Later on, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) shows more understanding and fights Summer’s corner by speaking to Billy.
He explains how she feels and urges him to support her despite his disapproval.
But how will Billy react?
Will he have a change of heart and help Summer through her ordeal?
