Kelly’s plans for revenge against Gary Windass don’t work out as she had initially intended

Kelly learns the truth about how her dad Rick died at the hands of Gary Windass.

Kelly (Millie Gibson) decides to get revenge against Gary and plots to have him killed.

She lures him into a trap but then has a change of heart, before finding herself in danger too after the hitman decides to kill Gary AND her.

Speaking about his involvement in the dramatic storyline, Adam said during a recent Coronation Street press day: “I think it’s brilliant.

“Just working on such an amazing script and story, to be able to do stunts because of the cameras and a big green screen and the volume walls that they use in Hollywood films, and to be able to work with those devices and having the crew work phenomenally.

“Everyone who worked on that was absolutely amazing. I think it was one of the best shoots I have ever done.”

He added: “In the end it all looks really amazing. I can’t wait to see it once it’s on TV.”

While Millie’s departure from the soap has been confirmed, viewers will have to wait and see just how Kelly departs Weatherfield.

But Adam hinted that if she survives the rooftop drama, Aadi would be tempted to leave the Cobbles with her.

He said: “I think ultimately he would because he’s not had a good time at home on the street.

“He’s been in car crashes and set on fire and been dumped, and he’s found someone who understands him.

“So I think given the opportunity, he would run away for a fresh start with Kelly.”

Coronation Street airs on ITV and is available on ITV Hub.
