Maudsley, known for his role as Kenneth Du Beke in Benidorm, had asked for help from his fans in locating McGarrigle. The costume supervisor had worked on the popular TV show. Friendship and Tragic Loss

Maudsley and McGarrigle had formed a close friendship during their time working together on Benidorm. McGarrigle had gone missing in the early hours of Sunday morning, and his friends and family were deeply concerned for his safety. Maudsley reached out to his followers, sharing a photo of McGarrigle and appealing to anyone who may have seen him to contact the Glasgow Police. Sadly, the news of McGarrigle's death came late in the night.
