Is trouble on its way to Stu?
Money talks in the cobbles and, sometimes, it can be deadly – but will it be the case for beloved Speed Daal chef Stu Carpenter (played by Bill Fellows)?
Dom's intentions
The former homeless man took in his granddaughter Eliza (Savannah Kunyo) after her mother Bridget was sent to prison for the murder of Charlie Walters. But in a surprising twist, Eliza's estranged father Dom (Darren Morfitt) has recently reconnected with her and is trying to be a part of her life. However, Stu is far from happy about Dom's budding relationship with Eliza.
Yasmeen's dilemma
Stu's primary source of support throughout the ordeal, Yasmeen (Shelley King), tells him that her grandson is planning to take her to Pakistan for her 70th birthday. Stu insists that she must go, allowing him to focus on his impending battle for Eliza.
Stu vs. Dom
Dom suggests to Stu and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) that they drop the legal proceedings and come to an agreement. Stu refuses and tells Dom that he'll see him in court. Despite growing tensions, Dom assures Stu that he only wants what's best for Eliza and a chance to be a better father.
Trouble ahead?
In a later meeting, Eliza innocently reveals that Stu is wealthy, which catches Dom's attention. Could Eliza's words bring trouble to her grandfather? What will Dom do?
