CORONATION Street child star Jude Riordan left fans in awe as he paid a sweet tribute to his secret soap rival father.
Jude, who plays Sam Blakeman in the ITV soap opera, shared a touching message to his father online for Father’s Day – silencing any chance of ‘rivalry’ between their fellow soaps, with Jude’s dad, Paul, working as a director on Emmerdale.

The child star took to his Instagram account to pay tribute to his father.
12 year old Jude posted the message with the help of his mum who controls his social media accounts due to his age.
Jude has an active profile on Instagram at his age as a result of showcasing his work in the acting world.
In two sweet snaps, Jude could be seen as a baby with his father before another pic showed him, his older brother Zach and their dad all suited and booted and looking very grown up.
Labelling his dad as “the best”, Jude’s simple caption read: “HFD to all, especially the best @paulrio27 #happyfathersday #thebest.”
Many of his 80,000 followers were left gushing over the post.
One fan said: “Have a lovely day with your Dad, Jude. Hope you’ve been spoiling him.”

Jude’s dad works in directing and has also dabbled in acting himself.
He is currently based with Emmerdale working behind the camera.
Despite his tender age, Jude has quickly risen up the ranks at Coronation Street and has featured in a number of high-profile and emotive storylines.
Introduced as the secret love child of Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), he made a name for himself as a brainbox and ‘know-it-all’ with an infectious personality.
His character, Sam, went through heartache when his mother was murdered in a case of mistaken identity that should have seen his step-mother killed instead.
It led to Sam being at the heart of the show’s shocking drugs and gangs storyline that terrorised Weatherfield.
These days, Sam is building a ‘relationship’ with Hope Stape but her intense jealous and wayward lifestyle has left Sam questioning if it is the right decision.
