EASTENDERS fans are in shock after ANOTHER legend made a shock return tonight.
The BBC soap stunned viewers when actor Adam Woodyatt secretly reprised his role as Ian Beale in last night’s episode.
Danny Walters returned to EastEnders tonight as Keanu Taylor
Fans were shocked to see him back on the square again
But tonight they got another shock when another former Walford resident made a shocking comeback.
Keanu Taylor walked back into Walford almost three years after being driven out by Phil Mitchell.
And HOAR can reveal that he’s back to stay with actor Danny Walters signing up for a full-time return, and he couldn’t be happier.
He told HOAR: “When I got the call and he told me about the storylines, [EastEnders boss Chris] was teasing some – he’s not told me them all yet – his vision is incredible.
“So when I heard what he wanted Keanu to do I couldn’t help but want to come back.
“And I feel very privileged to come back on such an iconic episode. The way I play him moving forwards it is a new type of character, it is exciting.”
The actor also revealed that Keanu is back for his ex – and he’s determined to win Sharon Watts back.
The pair famous had an affair that exploded three years ago at Christmas.
It ultimately led to a deadly showdown between Keanu and Sharon’s then husband Phil Mitchell, resulting in the death of her son Denny.
But now Keanu is back and he wants Sharon and his son Albie in his life.
Danny added: “Sharon is a strong force but he has a child, Albie, who is two.
“So he has Peggy and Albie. Keanu has always been the man of the house and where he hasn’t had a father figure in his life, he wants to be the dad his father wasn’t.
“And he goes into the old habits where he sees himself becoming like his father and he tries to break those habits.
“While he was in Portugal he had a lot of time to think and grow up. There was only way – and that is to come back to Albert Square.”
“Sharon was always the reason Keanu had purpose and drive,” he said.
“There is a deep attraction to Sharon which Keanu couldn’t explain if you asked him. He is drawn to it. It is reciprocated.
“Not just because Keanu is younger but because it is someone who appreciates Sharon for who she is which is why the relationship works so well.
“He comes back to the Square with the intention to create a relationship with his son and to rekindle his relationship with Sharon – that is maybe a motive.”
