VIEWERS of EastEnders were left stunned when Sharon Watts and Keanu Taylor powered through all the odds and became engaged during tonight’s episode.
Despite being left for dead by Ravi Gulati and his gang, Keanu managed to make it through and be reunited with his beloved Sharon by his hospital bedside.
Sharon popped the question to Keanu at his hospital bedside

However, Keanu’s (Danny Walters) road to recovery did not go smoothly when he was left furious at Sharon (Letitia Dean) for grassing up Ravi to the police.
He told her that they now had an even bigger target on their back and that Ravi’s gang were not to be messed with.
Ravi was left flapping in custody when it seemed that the police had him under their thumb.
Miraculously, Nish was able to get Ravi back from behind bars and caused controversy when he took him for a celebratory lunch in The Vic, where Sharon already was.
She was left reeling as Ravi gloated about his release and she was left engaging in a bitter war of words with Ravi and Nish about their place in the square.
Rattled by his release, Sharon returned to Keanu’s bedside where they vowed to be a strong family unit and tackle any further problems head on.
Keanu also assured her that he would leave crime behind for the sake of Albie.
However, fans could not have predicted the next turn of events as Sharon popped the question to Keanu.
Staring into each other’s eyes, Sharon said: “I thought I might lose you yesterday.
“And I can’t lose this family.
“Keanu… will you marry me?”
A smile crept up on Keanu’s face as he replied: “What do you think? I love you.”
“I love you too,” said Sharon.
Taking to Twitter to comment on the engagement, one fan said: “Sharon and Keanu have been the most beautiful true love story since 2018. Finally engaged!”
Another wrote: “So now we know why Sharon is in a wedding dress at Xmas? We finally have a Sheanu wedding.”
And a third penned: “Awwww Sharon and keanu are adorable.”
However, the engagement joy was short-lived when the pair were visited by Nish who had a few more threats to dish out.
“It’s a bad idea what you did yesterday,” he warned Sharon. “Don’t do it again or things will be very different.”
“We can all play as dirty as you,” Sharon shot back, grabbing his face and warning him to stay away from her family.
“See you around,” Nish smirked, as he left the room.
