The Plot Thickens

The six characters involved in the murder on EastEnders have been desperately trying to keep their dark secret hidden for weeks. However, in next week's episode, one of the show's beloved characters will be forced to flee Albert Square as her secret is on the verge of being exposed.

Linda Carter Reaches Her Breaking Point

Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, has been struggling with the guilt and memory of Keanu Taylor's murder. As loyal viewers will recall, Linda, the landlady of The Vic, has been spiraling out of control and turning to alcohol to cope with the weight of her actions. She stabbed Keanu in the back, ultimately killing him.

The Secret Remains Buried

After committing the crime, Linda received help from five other women in Walford, and together they disposed of Keanu's body beneath Kathy Beale's café. While Linda remains on edge, fearing her secret may be exposed, she has found solace in the support of her friend Alfie Moon, portrayed by Shane Richie.

A Departure from Albert Square

In the upcoming episodes, Linda wakes up at The Vic filled with regret and confides in her mother, Elaine Peacock. Meanwhile, Alfie has a heart-to-heart conversation with Ian Beale, who encourages him to take a vacation to celebrate the end of his cancer treatment.

An Unexpected Invitation

In a chance encounter, Linda runs into Alfie on the Square and apologizes for avoiding him. Alfie reveals that he's leaving Walford for a holiday, and during their deep conversation at his flat, he extends an invitation for Linda to join him.

A Shocking Revelation

Linda is taken aback by Alfie's offer, but her decision is seemingly solidified when Karen Taylor, played by Lorraine Stanley, returns to the Square with questions about her son Keanu. Completely unaware of Keanu's fate, Karen was previously pushed out of Walford after her own misdeeds were exposed.

Linda's Departure

Overwhelmed by Karen's presence, Linda rushes back to The Vic to pack her bags and leave. Her mother, Elaine, catches her in the act and tries to convince her to stay. However, Linda remains resolute in her decision to leave with Alfie.

The Ripple Effect

Later on, Stacey Slater is shocked when Elaine reveals Linda's departure. Could Stacey alert the rest of the group about Linda's plans? Will the rest of The Five be forced to take action?
