EASTENDERS fans were all saying the same thing last night, as Walford legend James Bye donned his dancing shoes.
James, 38, has played market trader Martin Fowler in EastEnders since 2014, and last night made his first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
Despite seeing the Walford icon on their screens every week for eight years, fans could not recognise the soap actor.
“Wait… that’s not Martin Fowler!” one fan said.
While another added: “Martin Fowler’s grown since I watched Eastenders!” in reference to the character’s recasting.
