However, it was revealed back in June that she was one of four actors leaving Albert Square after a major cast shake-up by the show’s new boss.

Now Kelsey has taken to her Instagram page to share a series of snaps from the set before she left.

Kelsey posed alongside a number of EastEnders icons including Steve McFadden, who plays Phil Mitchell, Leticia Dean (Sharon Mitchell) and Kellie Bright (Linda Carter).

She also pulled a funny face in a picture with James Bye, who plays Martin Fowler, as well as striking a number of poses around the famous set.

Kelsey captioned the pictures: “My Eastenders experience has brought me nothing but smiles !!!”

Kelsey’s departure as Jada came as new boss Chris Clenshaw decided to make some major cast changes.

The new soap producer – who took over from outgoing boss Jon Sen earlier this year – kicked an explosive summer with four dramatic exits.

HOAR exclusively revealed that Stuart Highway actor Ricky Champ was leaving the soap after four years, with his exit scenes playing out earlier this month.

He was joined by Dayle Hudson, who had played Ian Beale’s son Peter since 2020, and Dana Monroe actress Barbara Smith.

A source said: “Whenever a new boss comes in there’s always going to be big changes and it’s no different with Chris.

“He’s been working hard behind the scenes since January and is really planning to shake things up which means saying goodbye to some characters.

“It’s nothing personal to any of the cast going, it’s simply a creative decision – for big storylines to happen you have to say goodbye people, that’s the nature of soap.

“Chris has some really big stories planned and viewers will see his stuff starting to air over the summer.

“He’s really keen to take the show back to its roots, build up the clans again with some big explosive long running stories. It’s an exciting time to be on the show.”
