Tuesday's episode rescheduled
EastEnders, the popular soap opera, will not be airing its usual episode on Tuesday this week. Instead, the episode will be broadcast later in the week. The soap will have 30-minute episodes running from Wednesday to Friday.
FA Cup match takes priority
West Ham United's FA Cup match against Bristol City will be broadcast on Tuesday evening, taking the place of EastEnders. This is not the first time football matches have caused scheduling changes for popular shows, as Coronation Street was also impacted earlier this month.
Changes to other programmes
In addition to EastEnders, other shows such as Silent Witness and Waterloo Road have also had to be rescheduled due to the football matches.
Mixed reactions from fans
While some fans expressed their frustration with the schedule changes, others didn't mind the shift. One fan mentioned that they enjoy the Friday episodes as it makes the waiting time between episodes shorter.
