EMMERDALE fans are shocked after Caleb Miligan turned on his own son Nicky after discovering his secret.
The nanny – who is played by actor Lewis Cope in the ITV soap – is secretly gay but until tonight his dad Caleb didn’t know.
Nicky begged his dad to allow him to back out of the plan
Caleb had no intentions of letting his son back out of his arrangements
Caleb spotted Nicky kissing Ali in the car and was furious.
But despite his fury, he wasn’t angry about Nicky being gay, he was devastated he felt he couldn’t tell him he was gay.
Having said that he still demanded that Nicky carry on with his relationship with Gabby – to get his hands on her millions as well as Kim’s.
Later, Nicky begged his dad: “I’ve been thinking, once I get you into Kim’s computer, you don’t need me anymore.
“I don’t care about the money and now you know the truth about me, I don’t see why I have to marry Gabby.
“Once you’ve wiped Kim out you won’t need The HOP and all. I can’t be with her, it’s wearing me down.
“I don’t know how long I can keep up this pretence. She’s going to figure out that I don’t really fancy her.”
But Caleb had no intentions of letting his son back out of his plan now, not when they are so close to taking Kim’s millions.
“You’re having a wobble, yeah? It’s been a difficult day,” he told him.
“Look, I am glad that you came out to me, I respect that but you can’t change the plan.
“Do you know how much debt I’m in? I have mortgaged everything. Your mum is going to be thrown out of the house if we don’t pull this off. She’ll be on the street, we’ll probably be in prison but that’s not going to happen.
“You can do this and you will. You are not going to throw this all away over some lad.
“You are my son who does what I tell him no questions asked. I swear to you, if you mess this up, family or no, I’ll destroy you. You know that I can.”
Fans are horrified at his turning on Nicky.
One wrote: “Caleb is really hard on Nicky.”
A second said: “How hasn’t Nicky told Caleb to f*** off (in pre watershed ways) yet? Caleb’s done f*** all yet he is constantly on Nicky’s back.”
Another added: “K-Lub showing his true colours now.”
