EMMERDALE favourite Fiona Wade has quit the soap after 12 years – and left fans devastated.
The Priya Sharma actress, 43, will film her final scenes on the soap next year after deciding to walk away from the role.

HOAR exclusively revealed how Fiona is hoping to explore other roles after bowing out of the soap.
However the news has left fans devastated.
One wrote: “Not Priya! [crying emoji] #Emmerdale”
A second said: “Gutted it’s been confirmed that @FionaWade_ is leaving #Emmerdale, hope Priya gets a good exit and not just in a taxi.”
Another added: “What do you mean Priya is leaving Emmerdale?
“There appears to be a mass exodus of strong female characters and this isn’t sitting well with me.”
Meanwhile HOAR has also revealed an exclusive first look as the soap makes history with a scene featuring every single character.
The entire village will come together to pay tribute to the recent deaths in the soap.
Faith Dingle tragically took her own life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
And Liv Flaherty was crushed by a caravan,
The pair will have a joint funeral organised by the Dingles.
As the ITV soap’s 50th anniversary events play out, their coffins arrive for the service in horse-drawn carriages.
Producer Laura Shaw said: “Having a scene featuring the entire adult cast was not something we had done before — it felt very right and fitting that we had the whole cast there to say goodbye.”
It has yet to be announced when long-standing vicar turned police woman Harriet Finch’s funeral will take place.
