VINNY Dingle is still mourning the loss of his wife Liv Flaherty, who was crushed by a caravan during a deadly storm.

But next week, he finds comfort in the shape of another woman living in Emmerdale – who could it be?

Will Vinny Dingle find love again in the Dales?

The character has been mourning the loss of his wife Liv Flaherty

The late Liv Flaherty would have celebrated her birthday on February 16.

Robbed of an eventful day with the love of his life, Vinny Dingle is still determined to pay tribute to his wife.

Coming up next week on ITV, the grieving character portrayed by Bradley Johnson emotionally toasts to Liv’s 21st birthday.

However, he soon has other priorities as the Dingles struggle with the cold – and it leads to him forming a fast bond with another woman.

Vinny and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) are almost caught syphoning oil from Eric Pollard’s oil tank after hatching a plan to keep the family warm.

They later toast to a job well done and, with the heating back on, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) softens her stance on whatever dodgy business they’ve had to do to fill the tank.

But could Vinny and Belle’s alliance lead to something more?

Liv was once worried her husband Vinny would be unfaithful to her with Gabby Thomas when her scheming mother Sandra triggered doubts in an attempt to get her hands on some cash.

Many fans believed Vinny could have turned to Gabby (Rosie Bentham) for comfort following Liv’s death but, instead, turned to gambling which landed him into plenty of trouble.

Meanwhile, Belle hasn’t been the luckiest in love in the eponymous village.

She was most recently romantically involved with Al Chapman’s son Ellis but the lad left for a job opportunity abroad and Belle has remained single ever since.

Belle was involved in exposing Chas Dingle’s affair with Al Chapman and allowed Paddy to finally get to the truth.

She then shunned the Woolpack bar manager and viewers of the Yorkshire-based drama were having none of it due to her own past with infidelity.

But after months spent alone and meddling with other people’s personal lives, could Belle find love again in the Dales?

Or is it still to early for Vinny?

Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
