EMMERDALE star has announced her exit from the soap as she will be going abroad to ‘reset’ and get over her latest heartbreak.
Her character will leave the Dales after being at the centre of some major storylines.

Gabby Thomas actress Rosie Bentham confirmed her exit from the ITV soap, but hopes to make a return in the future.
The 22-year-old actress has teased more chaos to come after a “reset” for Gabby.
She told Inside Soap magazine: “The tears need to come. Hopefully she’ll come back with a different head on with regards to the Nicky situation”.
However, there will be plenty of drama before she leaves the Dales as Rosie teased: “Gabby has a lot on her plate and the next few months are chaotic.”
Gabby will head to Portugal in new scenes when she decides she needs to go away.
The country is where her grandmother Diane Sugden currently lives after she left the village in 2021 – but it is unclear how long her stay will be.
This comes after Gabby was left humiliated by fiancé Nicky who was actually gay and was using her to get an in at Home Farm.
Gabby is still devastated from the Nicky situation, leading her to make some maddening moves, such as trying to kiss Dawn’s husband Billy, leaving him horrified.
Rosie explained it was a “moment of madness” for her character and believes she is “completely lost.”
She added: “I just picture Gabby waking up in the morning and feeling like her life is chaos.
“Obviously, there’s the anniversary of Liv Dingle’s death on the horizon, and that’s difficult for Gabby, as Liv was her best mate.”
