UPSETTING scenes have shown Nicola King get brutally beaten by a group of teenage girls.
Convinced her attackers are out to get her, the Emmerdale resident lashes out – and physically assaults another villager.
Nicola has been left traumatised by her violent mugging and is unable to leave her home or be on her own without suffering from horrific panic attacks.
Last night, things got out of hand for the co-owner of Café Main Street as she crashed into David Metcalfe’s van.
The debt-ridden shop owner had set out for free deliveries to surrounding villages, despite advice from his father Eric Pollard he could be losing money he actually needs.

As her panics worsen, she resorts to keeping her son Carl home from school in a desperate attempt to avoid being left alone at home, after he gets a tummy bug.
However, things gets out of hand when the young boy tries to lure her outside of the house – and a panicked Nicola, believing her attackers are on to her, strikes an anonymous victim at the front door.
Who could it be?
Recently speaking about the upcoming scenes, actress Nicola Wheeler first summarised the minor collision between her character and David, which she filmed following a hip replacement.
“Nicola gets into the car and it appears that everything is okay – she’s in the car, she’s got a grip”, the actress said.
Nicola added: “All she has to do is drive to the school and pick the kids up and get back home.”
“But what starts to happen is, she starts to relive the attack, it just creeps in. She becomes out of control, unfortunately slams her foot onto the accelerator and hits the back of David’s car.”
“David is understandably cross, he comes out and shouts at her, because it was clear he was coming out.”
