But nothing is as it seems
Eve Unwin was heart-broken when Suki Panesar (portrayed by Balvinder Sopal) decided to end their affair once again after the pair had originally planned to run away together.
Jilted Eve was left in tatters but things appear to finally look up for her next week on BBC One as a woman called Caz shows up in the café looking for her.
Suki is jealous when she overhears Caz and stops Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) sharing information on her whereabouts, assuming that she’s a new love interest.
However, Eve takes matters into her own hands by heading over to the café herself and agrees to a date with her secret admirer – how will it play out?
Later on, Eve and Suki have an awkward encounter in the Minute Mart, but just as Eve is about to leave, Suki almost faints.
The businesswoman then dismisses her husband Nish and her son Vinny’s worries after her dizzy spell, insisting she is fine to work.
While at the Minute Mart, however, a worried Eve forces Suki to see the doctors.
But the romance is clearly over between the two and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) later encourages Eve to move on with her new lady after she ignores her calls.
Eve avoids the subject and claps back, insisting Stacey should stop leading Theo Hawthorne on.
Stacey sees her pal on a date later with Caz who is posing as “Amanda” when Eve leaves her phone unattended.
But Eve insists she can’t go when Stacey is spooked by another letter from her stalker.
In later scenes, Stacey pushes Eve to go on her date and lends her a new outfit to wear.
This fails to help Eve and the date is awkward, prompting her to leave… but “Amanda” aka Caz stops her in her tracks and reveals her true identity as Caroline.
