EX EASTENDERS star Melissa Suffield has proudly shown off her stretch marks two months after giving birth to son River.
The 27-year-old actress has been incredibly honest with fans throughout her journey into motherhood, and her latest Instagram Story was no exception.
The blonde beauty took to her social media page earlier today to show off the marks left on her legs and stomach from carrying River.
Melissa simply wrote: “Let’s tan them into oblivion”, adding a gif that read: “Stretch marks = battle scars”.
The new mum shared a similar photo ahead of giving birth to River in March, being praised at the time for posting the black and white snap of her bump at 35 weeks pregnant.
She wrote: They’re not ideal. They’re not what I wanted.
“But they’re what I got. And they’re mine. #loveyourself.”
River is Melissa and fiance Robert Brendan’s first child, and she has been blogging her experience of motherhood to help fellow mums-to-be – including details of her breastfeeding struggle and River’s birth.
Melissa shot to fame playing EastEnders‘ Ian Beale’s only daughter Lucy between 2004 and 2010, joining the BBC One soap at the age of 11.
Although the third actress to put their face to the character, Melissa was the first recognisable star to take on the role and appeared as a series regular for six years.
She was axed after being caught boozing underage – just weeks before her 18th birthday.
The role was reprised by Hetti Bywater, with the character murdered by little brother Bobby Beale in 2014.
Melissa met 37-year-old Robert in 2017 while performing in a production of Beauty and the Beast together.
They bought their first house early last year, and announced their engagement in July – three months before revealing her pregnancy.
