Yasmeen Nazir, played by Shelley King, struggled to trust again after her traumatic experience with Geoff. Bartholomew's portrayal of the villain made it difficult for viewers to see him in a different light.

Bartholomew's Future Projects
Since leaving Coronation Street, Ian Bartholomew has focused on other projects, including his musical endeavors. He released a track in support of Women's Aid and even auditioned for Britain's Got Talent. In addition to Wonka, he has been cast in the upcoming film Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre. It seems that Corrie and cinema fans will have to get used to seeing Bartholomew in different roles.
