RORY Douglas-Speed has posted a sweet selfie with his new son.
The Hollyoaks star – who plays Priest Joel in the Channel 4 soap – posted a snap of his newborn with partner and co-star Nadine Mulkerrin to Instagram.
He captioned the sweet snap with the words: “Never had such big bags under my eyes, but its all worth it! #prouddadspam”
Nadine herself commented: “Oh Jesus I actually cant cope.”
It comes after Nadine revealed she was up all night feeding her newborn son and begging Hollyoaks co-star Jennifer Metcalfe for baby tips.
The soap actress, 26, welcomed her first child with fiance Rory Douglas-Speed on Tuesday.

But after gushing that son Reggie had been perfectly behaved on her first night with him, Nadine admitted it wasn’t quite as plain sailing in the hospital last night.
Instead of sleeping, Nadine spent the night attempting to nurse her restless newborn and texting pal Jen – who plays her onscreen cousin Mercedes McQueen – for advice.
She wrote: “Day 1- smug motherf****r this is world most chilled well behaved silent sleepy content baby.”
Nadine then shared a snap of herself breastfeeding little Reggie with a panicked facial expression.


She then continued: “Will this ever end. Why won’t you go back in your f***ing bed. I’ve tried tricking him like 18 times.
“Just wants to lie on my [sic] with my nipple in his throat sleeping cheers bud.”
The star then shared a new snap of her bundle of joy, writing: “But this face and Kylie Jenner lips.”
Proud dad Rory, 27, broke the couple’s baby news with a snap of the pair cradling their son on Instagram on Tuesday.


The actor, who plays Joel Dexter inthe long-running saga, told fans: Welcome to the family wee Reggie Speed 15.8.19

Nadine, who plays Cleo McQueen, shared her own picture with her new born and gushed: “Reggie Speed . Your the coolest little dude we never knew we were missing in our lives! We love you so Much.
“Also Thank you to every incredible NHS worker weve come across at the womens.(Helen,Jordine,Amy,Amy) Your all walking angels. Thank you so much for making one of biggest moments of our lives so extra special with care.”


The actress revealed she was pregnant when she attended the British Soap Awards this year – showing off her bump for the first time.
The couple, who met on set of the Channel 4 soap, got engaged back in December after dating for just over a year.
