Hollyoaks star Amy Maghera, known for her role as Neeta Kaur in the popular Channel 4 soap opera, has shared the exciting news that she is expecting her second child. Taking to social media, the actress posted a sweet photo of her baby scan to reveal the happy news to her followers.

Former Co-Stars Congratulate and Offer Advice

Amy's former Hollyoaks co-stars wasted no time in sending their congratulations and offering some advice on raising two children so close in age. Stephanie Waring, a Hollyoaks legend, gushed, "Congratulations!! Lovely news!!" Haiesha Mistry, who plays Yazz Cunningham on the soap, wrote, "Huge congratulations lovely." Amanda Clapham simply commented, "Congratulations," while Lysette Anthony exclaimed, "Oh Wow." Soap veteran Ashley Taylor Dawson playfully joked, "It's the best way… pop em out, create your possy and take over! Congratulations."

Amy's Hollyoaks Journey and Controversial Storylines

Amy's character, Neeta Kaur, was a firm favorite among fans during her nearly three-year stint on Hollyoaks from 2015 to 2017. She was involved in one of the soap's most controversial storylines, where she embarked on a secret relationship with one of her teenage pupils. Neeta's character also faced a bitter court battle with her abusive fiancé, Mac Nightingale, played by David Easter. Tragically, Neeta met her end when Mac intentionally let her fall to her death during a fire at the school where she worked, after she chose her schoolboy lover over him.

Amy's Success in Modelling and Dancing

In addition to her acting career, Amy has had success in the modeling industry, working with global brands like Olay, Skechers, L'Oreal, and Nokia. She has also performed as a backing dancer for A-list music stars such as Kanye West and Guns N' Roses.
