CORONATION Street fans have called out an ‘obvious’ blunder during Justin’s court case.

Justin is standing trial for throwing acid at Daisy Midgeley – who he had been stalking – but hitting Ryan Connor instead as he stepped in to protect her.

Coronation Street fans have called out an ‘obvious’ blunder during Justin’s court case

The court case has been playing out across this week’s episodes

During Friday’s episode, Ryan took the stand to share what happened and how he had been left permanently scarred by Justin’s act.

However, the sadistic character’s lawyer then cross-examined Ryan and tried to claim Daisy and Ryan had come up with the plan to throw acid on Justin, but that it had backfired.

Ryan couldn’t help but shout in outrage at the ludicrous accusation, before leaving the courtroom shaking.

The judge then adjourned the case while everyone involved composed themselves.

But die-hard Coronation Street viewers couldn’t help but point out a major flaw in the whole storyline, which could have saved Daisy and Ryan the extra turmoil.

Considering the amount of crimes committed on the Cobbles over the years, many felt it odd that the Street wasn’t covered in CCTV cameras.

One wrote: “This trial prove even more that Coronation Street aka ‘Britain’s most dangerous street’ needs CCTV.”

Another tweeted: “There amount of criminals there have been on the Cobbles you’d think there would be CCTV everywhere.”

A third added: “What kind of pub doesn’t have CCTV to prove this Justin fella is a liar? Seems a bit silly to run a pub with no security.”

Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
