A Surprise Birthday Bash
After taking part in a kidnapping scam, which she organised with her son Keanu Taylor to get revenge on Sharon Watts, Karen Taylor is treated to a surprise birthday bash in The Vic next week on BBC One.
Reunited with Her Children
The beloved character portrayed by Lorraine Stanley walks into the boozer surrounded by her closest friends and relatives. However, she's over the moon when two of her children rock up Walford after three years of absence – Riley and Chatham Taylor.
A Change in Dynamics?
Both Riley and Chatham were rarely able to see their mother Karen – but could her birthday gathering bring change? Could they decide to move back in with her?
Family Drama Unfolds
Aside from the late and beloved Chantelle, Karen's children are leading their own lives with Keegan having left the Square to go to Germany and Bernie working in the local café. Keanu, on the other hand, has been on-and-off with Sharon Watts and Karen has had a lot to say about their rocky relationship.
The Kidnapping Scam
As mentioned above, both Karen and Keanu (Danny Walters) worked out a plan to make the businesswoman pay as they staged a kidnapping. During this plan, young Albie Watts was taken away from his distraught mother but he was eventually returned when Sharon paid up a hefty ransom.
A Nasty Surprise
Later on, however, Karen and Keanu get a nasty shock when Malcolm, their accomplice, appears at the party and Albie takes a shine to him. Will their secret be uncovered?
