NAOMI Walter has taken a liking to Alex Moore despite her father’s warnings about him.
But it’s all about to change – the villain finally shows his true colours and instils fear in Emmerdale by targeting Manpreet Sharma.

When Alex Moore (played by Liam Boyle) returned to the eponymous village after a stay behind bars, everything seemed to finally fall into place for him.
The character appeared ready to get back onto the straight and narrow and remain there, particularly after meeting Naomi Walters (Karene Peter).
In recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based soap, Alex found himself a job, willing to do whatever it would take to make ends meet without resorting to illegal activities.
Coming up next week on ITV, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) eats humble pie over his treatment of Alex as he’d initially tried to get his daughter Naomi to stay away from him out of fear for her.
Meanwhile, Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) gets a call about the surgery’s drug delivery – Alex seems interested.
He soon makes a furtive phone call himself and struggles to keep his cool with a mystery caller the following day.
Oblivious, Naomi and Charles are both happy and optimistic when he says he has a job interview that same day.
However, Alex is later spotted on the outskirts of the eponymous village by Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) as he’s handing cash to a mystery woman.
When Alex comes into the Woolpack, announcing that his interview went smoothly, Belle is left with the agonising decision whether to tell Naomi what he was really up to.
Chas backs up her sighting of Alex to a disbelieving Naomi, who gears up to confront him.
She later does so and catches him in a lie in the beer garden – but he promises to explain everything in good time.
His explanation is soon revealed to be innocent as he reveals to Naomi that he’s been helping the woman, Clare, with her finances and her son Max as he met the child’s father in prison.
Once he makes sure everything between him and Naomi is back on track, Alex makes up an excuse and leaves Woodbine to meet up with Clare again.
It’s then revealed that his relationship, which Naomi is convinced is growing strong, is actually a sham as Alex plans to rob the surgery.
Alex’s plan is clearly set in motion when, the following day, Manpreet and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) deal with issues due to the surgery’s electrics being vandalised.
He listens with interest and steals Manpreet’s surgery keys from her bag.
Armed with a crowbar, he lets himself into the surgery to look for the drugs he’s been wanting and Manpreet is puzzled to find the front door open as she heads for her office.
Unbeknownst to her, Alex is lurking in the shadows with his crowbar raised in the air.
