The young actor who is famed for playing wayward Max Turner on the cobbles was clearly stunned to have won the award.

His co-stars were also shocked and pleased, including friend Millie, who was spotted swearing before jumping to from her chair and throwing her arms around the actor.

Millie’s expletive moment did not go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans, with one writing: “It’s live Millie, no swearing. #NTAs”

Another posted: “Millie Gibson off Corrie forgot about the cameras there for a moment. #NTAs”

The talented youngster rushed up to the stage and said: “Erm, wow,” and revealed that he hadn’t prepared a speech” because he didn’t think he would be able to beat the other stars nominated for the award.

The teenager went on to reveal that his role as Max is his “first ever acting job” as he thanked the cast and crew for their support.

It comes after the Kelly Neelan actress revealed she has signed up to appear on an official Coronation Street tour taking place in Canada later this year.

During the tour, Millie will be joined by her on screen co-star Mikey North.

The pair will stop off at a number of provinces during the tour and will appear at a series of ‘An Audience with…’ events.

Millie revealed the news that she had signed up for the tour during a video posted on her Insta Stories earlier today.

In the clip with Mikey, she said: “Hello, my name is Millie Gibson and I play Kelly Neelan on Coronation Street.”

Mikey added: “And I’m Mikey North, but you might know me better as Gary Windass.”

Millie continued: “We are thrilled to announce that we will be visiting Canada later this year with a series of onstage interviews to share with Corrie fans everything that you’ve missed.”

Her character Kelly was seen fighting with Gary in her final scenes shot with special effects.

The pair grappled on a rooftop, as Aadi was shot by Kieron, as he protected Kelly.

Millie left the soap in emotional scenes last month
