MARLON Dingle is recovering from his stroke with the help of his new bride Rhona Goskirk.
However, she gets the shock of a lifetime when her former husband rocks up Emmerdale.

He has shocking news for her
The beloved chef portrayed by Mark Charnock has had a slow-paced recovery from his stroke, which occurred last year.
But throughout the months that followed the incident, he’s managed to make progress.
Next week on ITV, he rushes to make his lunch date with Rhona (Zoe Henry) but they’re interrupted by the surprise arrival of her ex-husband.
She plans a proper catch-up with Gus (Alan McKenna) the following day but soon regrets it.
Gus unburdens to an uncomfortable Rhona and she’s left stunned and confused when he reveals he’d like to use one of their frozen embryos which were stored in deep freeze at an IVF clinic.
This is due to the fact that Rhona believed they had all been destroyed following their marriage.
Rhona is shocked and horrified by his demand but this only gets worse when she finds out what he’s been doing behind her back.
She learns Gus has been in touch with the clinic and acting on her behalf without her knowledge.
Left with an impossible choice, how will Rhona cope?
More importantly, what will she decide to do?
As mentioned above, Rhona has been trying to help Marlon throughout his recovery but his path was never simple.
The couple tied the knot while Marlon was still struggling with his health and his best pal Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) took him up the aisle in a wheelchair.
Marlon has also been a great cause for concern for his teen daughter April Windsor who initially found him on the floor following his stroke.
April took it upon herself to call the ambulance and save her father’s life – but she was left with considerable trauma from the experience.
Rhona has also been married to Dales serial killer and rapist Pierce Harris who passed away in prison.
Gus wouldn’t be the first blast from the past for Rhona as, last year, she met Pierce’s son Marcus Dean for the first time.
